Decibel Fire & Security has secured a three-year contract with the 2together NHS Foundation Trust to monitor and maintain intruder alarms across 30 Gloucestershire sites.
Advanced monitoring systems are essential for protecting NHS properties, staff, and patients from unauthorised access. These insurance-approved systems feature strategically placed sensors, audible alarms, and comply with European standards to ensure reliable performance. Motion detection, perimeter protection, and visible deterrents such as flashing lights and manual activation points provide immediate response and comprehensive security for all entry points.
A representative from the NHS Trust stated: “Maintaining these systems is vital. We have partnered with Decibel Fire and Security, a local Gloucestershire firm, to implement a proactive maintenance programme supported by their industry expertise and local workforce.”
Craig Harris, sales director at Decibel said: “We already have experience working with the NHS on access control and CCTV, so taking on their intruder alarm maintenance schedules was a natural extension.”
